Blackberry pie bars

These are soooo good. This one is not my recipe but my goodness, they are scrumptious. Original Recipe can be found here.

This I just had to share with you all. One of my very awesome Tias (aunts) gave my mom a hefty amount of blackberries that she didn't want to go to waste and being that she knows I love to cook and bake, she sent them my way. She also provided an insane amount of zucchini and bananas.

I made this pan on Labor Day and decided to make goodie bags for the siblings down in L.A. Once I cut the berry bars (and cooled), I wrapped them in wax paper and tied them off with a pretty ribbon. They say we eat with our eyes first after all. I feel that if your food looks amazing it will make the experience all the better.

I wish I'd taken pictures of everything else, I made chocolate espresso zucchini muffins, carrot zucchini with white chocolate chip muffins, AND mini banana loaves.

I have 2 sisters and a brother in L.A., they all had trouble sharing their goodies with their significant others and children. I also took a batch of goodies over to my awesome Tia, had to thank her for providing so much awesome stuff to bake with.

I definitely recommend giving these a go :)
